gosh its been a while

so its been a LONG time since i posted here.. i have five kids now and one on the way i rarly have time to knit or crochet. but thru facebook i was contacted by a local lady to make a stuffed elephant for her daughter and a hat. so that is what i am working on the toy is from REDHEART.com although im using cotton yarn to make it. and i am making mine pink..

I just whiped this little hat up for my four month old daughter and I LOVE IT!!! I could not find one small enough for her peanut head on a recent outing .

Ellie's Hat..

So sunday we took the kids to Silver Dollar City and I look for sun hats for the kids. I found the older two one at the EVIL STORE..aka walmart. but nothing small enough for ellie so i put my craftiness to use and made her one.. below are the pics..i just made it up in my head as i went.

Current Projects

So I m sorry I just dont have as much time to devote to this blog as I used to , the three kids are keeping my super busy and I m getting much time to crochet or knit. Recently I started knitting and am really liking it.. It is relaxing . I have two knit projects started, one i cant wait to start and two crocheted things started. ,
As while back i Purchased a Bernat bonus book at walmart for 25 cents and It had four super cute knitted out fits Pictured below is the item im making right now for my 3month old little girl Ellie.

tHe other thing I have started to knit is a blanket from lion's brand.com called twin lakes blankie.

 The crochet things Im working on is a pattern I purchased at Annie's Attic and they are diaper covers one for the dress above and the other just to make. (they are both the one with the ruffles on the rear)

And that leaves my pending project I found at Knitting daily .com as a free down load and it is a tank top for ME!!

So this is what is keeping me busy, I do get the chance to make a hair bow now and then and I have listed them for sale at my Etsy shop HERE..I made a beautiful one last saturday to match my four year olds pageant dress but that is another post.. The baby is crying so that is all for now..

headbands, bow and wips

So I have been crocheting here and there It just seems that it is tough to find time unless i stay up all night to do it. and by IT i mean crochet or knit.. Ive been practicing my knitting.. I wanted to learn to knit just to learn to make socks.. I love hand knit socks.. yes i know i can crochet them to..but i want to KNIT THEM!!! ok anyways I've been making a few head bands and bows for my girls.. I really enjoy designing these and they work up quick.. I like instant gratification.(this is one reason i hated knitting.. I can crochet so much faster) so here are some pics of the things ive finished since my last post and created as well.. ENJOY..
