World Wide Knit/Crochet in Public Day

Join us as we knit with hundreds of other knitters around the world on the same day!

Where: Brewed Awakenings, Hwy 62 East, Mountain Home

When: Saturday June 13th, 9-11 am (if raining or over temps over 85 we will meet at the Yarn Store & More)

Bring: Chair, umbrella if needed, a drink and your knit or crochet bag. A ball of scrap yarn for contest.

how to do a rib stich ..

I also learned how to do a rib stitch thru this video's. there are several in the series but im only goin to link to the first one and you can go thru them if you want.. I thought this was neat and will be using this pattern soon.. Also if anyone has a crocheted sock pattern id really appreciate a copy.I hope ya'll enjoy this new stitch as much as I have.. off to work on my MANY started projects..

hospital stay results

well since my little girl was in the hospital last Mon- wed, i got to work on my projects while she watched cartoons. I made a puppy dog bib and started a baby blanket for my husbands cousin who just had a baby ..it is made from the softest yarn It is Lion's Brand Vanna White baby yarn and the blanket im making is a free pattern from Lion's Brand and is SUPER girly and cute.

products of bedrest..

well since ive been on bedrest when im not sleeping or sewing on a cloth diaper im crocheting , ive completed several things, a pig bib, a ducky bib,miah's tank top , a pair of booties and ive worked on her wavy skirt.

well iv been being a "good girl" for the most part and staying off my feet.And while doing this i completed my pig bib. i think it is SO cute.now i am working on that baby set for my friend and a puppy bib..

i made this baby bib while laying in the E.R. tonight im not quite finished with it.. but as soon as im done i'll post the finished results..

a few completed things.

well i have a friend who is expecting a little boy so i crocheting her my "baby set" which is a set of booties, a hat, a bath towl, a washcloth and a bib and burp cloth. i have the hat finished and worked up a ROUGH copy of a pattern out of the april issue of crochet world but i guess the pattern was not proof read because it is wrong in several places and my bib didnt turn out the way i want it .. it is SUPPOSED to be a monkey but to me looks like a duck.I am working on my own version of a bib that will be a pig for my impending arrival.and i found some trivet's i made some time back .. check out my pics below and let me know what you think

the "thing" from my last post has become a tank top for my little one also i am posting pics of a zig zag skirt ive started for her , i am working it from the bottem up and then will do a top to match. Let me know what you think.
